NBQA Summer Quilt Challenge 2010

“I Spy R.I.”

This year’s Summer Challenge is “I Spy R.I.”
This will be a fun one! Maybe you have a RI landmark (present or long gone) that you want to memorialize, maybe you want to hide some landmarks in your quit and make a game, or maybe a “Rhode Island-ism” will inspire an art quilt. Be as literal or as liberal as your creativity takes you.

Here are the guidelines:

·        Your creation may be any type of project including wearables as long as it is three layers, quilted and has a finished edge.

·        Minimum size is 40” around the total perimeter e.g. a 10” by 10” square or a 15” by 5” rectangle or anything else where the sides add to 40”. There is no maximum size.

Bring your entry to the September meeting.

Guild members will vote on their favorites and prizes will be awarded.
