Books are borrowed for 1 month and are due at the next general meeting. A $1.00 fee is charged for overdue books. Books borrowed at the June meeting are not due until the September meeting as long as your dues are paid for the following year.

Door Prizes
Tickets for door prizes are given at meeting check-in. Tickets are drawn for door prizes at the end of the general meeting.

Refreshments:
Refreshments are available prior to and after meetings. A sign-up sheet is passed around for bringing snacks (cheese, crackers, fruit, veggies), a dessert or beverages for the next meeting. If you sign up, a postcard reminder will be mailed to you.

Pot Luck Supper
A Pot Luck Supper is held at the January meeting at 6:30 PM. A sign-up sheet is passed around at meetings prior to January. Main dishes, salads etc. are needed. You need to bring you own place setting, wine, place mat etc.

Programs:
A lecture is presented at evening meetings and a workshop is offered during the day of the meeting. At some meetings you can "Show and Tell" your work to the group.

Quilt Block of the Month Drawing:
A booklet of monthly patterns is given to each member in September.  Make a block for the applicable month and bring it to that month's meeting. By participating in the Block of the Month you will receive a pin with a picture of the block of the month and you will be entered into a drawing to win all the blocks entered that month. If enough blocks are made, multiple names are drawn and the blocks are divided among the winners.

Summer Challenge:
A theme and specifications are announced in May for the "summer challenge". The completed quilts are viewed and voted on at the September's meeting. Prizes are awarded.

Comfort Quilts:
There s an ongoing collection of small quilts for donation (i.e. hospital nurseries, Ronald McDonald House). The Guild ultimately makes the decision of where to donate. There may be a day designated to work with others in the guild to make several quilts.

Bus Trips:
Bus trips to quilt shows, shops etc. are offered occasionally. Details are announced at meetings, in the newsletter and on the NBQA web site.

Message Board and Table:
Upcoming quilt related events, quilt shops, etc. information is posted on the board or flyers are on the table at meetings.

Raffle Quilt:
In some years, the guild membership makes a raffle quilt to benefit the New England Quilt Museum. Members are asked to sell raffle tickets.
